Quote:
I stayed up all night to order my iPad with the inscription “Will You Marry Me?” Received mine this Monday, Took my then-girlfriend, Jessica, up to the National Redwood Forrest in Northern CA. After having to cross a river on a downed Redwood and dealing with the intermettant rain I found the largest tree in the world I kneeled down and gave it my best!

Whether it was something I said or “Apple’s Magic” in action she gushed and said YES, now give me my iPad!!

You couldn't do that with Android - Android users prefer open relationships.

I don't think Apple users should be allowed to marry, if they're not ready to take responsibility for their PCs then I don't think they're ready for a relationship. :)

So many rude jokes are going round my head about viruses and dual-booting

Do you reckon she'll have to wait ages for a white iDress to become available?

Er.... I bought Nic and iPod Nano for Xmas (either 2007 or 2008, cant remember) and had "will you marry me" inscribed on it. Now I'm thinking 1) I did it way before these guys and 2) how [LIFTED] sad am I?

I thought it was a good idea at the time*.

Funnily ebough though when she took it out of the box it took her ages to see the inscription. She even glanced over it once and took no notice.

*owing to the fact she really wanted to get married and also really wanted an iPod

Same here, I do not think I have seen a badly looked after Mac. Seen plenty of badly looked after PC's.

I always said having a Windows PC was like being in a dysfunctional relationship...

It seems strangely appropriate now that The Register refers to iPads as 'FondleSlabs'.
