Get tapatalk. The iPad version is rather spiffing.

There's no need to when Safari does just fine. (8+) Mark

I admit I thought so too. And Safari does 'work'. But tapatalk is just so much more convenient, really it is.

Well a bit off faffing about and I have synced my passwords and apps. It took a while to get the passwords across. I had to manually enter my 50 digit wifi password before I could sync 1Password. Now it is set up I can watch TV on TVcatchup.com and iPlayer. Next to get Air Video working and I can stream everything else.

Actually, I'm glad TapaTalk finally works on the iPad. Safari is pretty good, but the theme used is still aimed at the WIMP environment. It's not quite good enough for a touch based interface.

How does one go about grabbing an image URL when using an iPad?

Hmm.. interesting. Not sure you can. Tap and hold on an image in Safari brings up a menu, but I'm not sure 'copy image address' is in it like it is in desktop Safari. Jon

Hm. That sometimes works but it depends on the app you paste into - if it can only do text you get the URL, if it can do graphics as well (an email for example) you get the image itself. You'd have to paste it to a 'text' app then copy that back to the clipboard. Faffy but it'd work.
