value of nikon 18-70mm DX?

badly need to get rid of this lens I never use anymore :( how much is it worth for selling? anyone any idea? its in great condition which is surprising for me. lost all lens caps for it though but not a clue how much I should ask for :cry:

70-80 GBP according to eBay. But most of those appear to have boxes, hoods and caps.

it doesnt really say much for stats

AF - S NIKKOR 18-70mm 1:3.5-4.5G ED DX

and other side says DX SWM ED IF Aspherical ø67

According to the eBay I saw for that price, it's a full setup that's going for that sort of money ... eBay sale.

Yep, which means it'll go for more, but gives no actual indication of price for the lens. Perhaps as amazon is selling it for about £180 brand new, £70 or £80 second hand is a good estimate but I'd expect both end caps and box for that.

Watching auction fever kick in on eBay can be quite entertaining. Several times I've seen people pay more second hand than they could brand new, and others pay more for faulty goods than quality second hand. :? :lol:

F mount Bratty, F Mount.

I think all DX lenses are AF-S.

eBay is annoying me at the moment, they've changed categories for the search filters so I can't easily look at say Wide or Tele lenses. :roll:
