Nah. I sold a cigarette dispenser on there for £14. Cost me £1.50. Even after fees, I'm about £10 up.

I bought a cheap faulty camera lens just to play around with. Found and repaired the fault and sold it on for about £20 profit.

Bought the 21v supply for my Electron the other week. Seller didn’t know what it was for, so I got it for a fiver (+postage). The dymo label on the plug was the giveaway for me

It needed a new connector at the Electron end, but part from that, it works well, and it’s contemporary to the machine.

Woot!
The t-top rubber seals for the car that would normally about £300 by the time they reach these sun kisssed shores are mine for just under 1/3rd of that. eBay can rock sometimes.
Slowly but surely, with thrift in mind where possible, I'm collecting all manner of bits to refresh her with.

I don't like a lot of things about eBay, but it's so far ahead of the competition that there is no competition...
