Sounds like one of my Microsoft exams. 4 separate case studies in an hour or so.

Moving house today, had a great idea last night "I can fit my ps3 controller in the box for my xbox"
Went and left the Xbox box at home... with the ps3 controller, remembered the ps3 console.... fail
Might go buy a controller later today lol

My exams for getting on to a specialist training programme were similar:
Paper 1: single best answer (you're given a scenario and have a list of answers) or matching questions (thee or four scenarios and a list of answers). All clinical based knowledge. Paper 2: you're given a scenario and have several answers. Put them in order of preference. Ethical paper eg you catch your senior watching porn on a hospital computer during working hours. (a)ignore it (b)report to the police (c)speak to the senior (d)speak to the consultant (e)tell IT.
I think each had 100 questions and 50 mins to answer. It wasn't too bad for the first paper, but for the second you kinda had to go on instinct. It's a way of seeing who is good at judging difficult situations and taking the correct action.

The problem is this wasnt design to be such a test. The boss wrote it yesterday, didnt do a trial run or mock with anyone and simply guestimated it would take an hour!

Was Lauren Laverne always this gorgeous, clever and funny and I just didn't notice or is this a new thing?

There is a lot of that kind of 1994 going on on the kitchen table right now.

I'm sure that's what the technicians at Fukushima were saying about Chernobyl. I know, different scenarios and all that, but you can't get complacent.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.
