What does a spider think it's doing when it attaches all those strands of arse-gunk together in a simple star shape, how does it know when it's time for it to start adding all the extra bits of arse-gunk to attach all the other strands with each other in an ever-decreasing concentric pattern? How does it know before hand whether it's chosen a space small/big enough to span with its web? This must be more than just hard-wired list of instincts. How is this information stored in its genes? A spider doesn't watch and learn how to build a web. The idea of a web must be in its DNA. So could some ideas be similarly hereditary in humans? Like language?
