Just moved an inkjet printer from office to office, now have a trail of ink (some large patches) on the works carpet tiles, any suggestions for cleaning up before I get fired?
Was think something alcohol would work (on the carpet not me) Isopropyl maybe?

Is it dried yet? The only suggestion I can think of is hot soapy, (washing up liquid) water and give it a good scrub. Or Tipex. Or white wine.
Mrs. V. suggested getting some new carpet tiles, but I'm not sure how serious she was being. She also mentioned bleach, or maybe urine... or just panic and try anything, including acid and fire!
Sorry I can't be of more help.

Try swapping the carpet tiles for clean ones under desks etc. This both hides your mistake and points the finger at others........

Would be if they weren’t stuck down with some very strong [LIFTED]..... Managed to talk the cleaner round who is now on her hands and knees with all sorts of sprays.... MD not impressed though (probably have to get on my hands and knees in a min but I wont elaborate on that at this point) Cheers for the suggestions John.....decided to take the delegate option (similar to the urine option you suggested)

Or you could try and convince the boss that the big ink stain is just a pigment of his imagination...
