And Steve seems to be taking over Bill's "be evil" mantra... I guess we will have to wait another 2 years, then Bill will come back to Microsoft, rescue it from the brink and turn it into the next big thing, whilst wearing a turtle neck...

That's been mooted a couple of times in the past.

macs are now only 20% of Apples net sales, with the iPhones at almost 50%. With enough cash to become one of the worlds largest hedge funds if they so wished.

Though the halo effect is boosting mac sales. I suspect that the iPad will also be a large share of sales in future.

Can't wait to see all the fanboys kicking off about how the competition comission and other regulatory bodies will be fining them for their practice

So Apple you agreed to put a micro usb port on your phones... where is it? For that matter where is the adapter?

It's not micro, but the charger lead is regular USB at one end. *shrug*

I suppose we'll have to wait for them to do something that's proven to be against the rules here first. You can be as evil as you like, as long as your lawyers are smart.

Iirc the regulation doesn't apply retrospectively and the iPhone 4 was done before it was finalised. So the iPhone 5 (or the 4S if we get that) will be the first model which has to be compliant.

I suspect that it will be a 4S, as I think the next big upgrade is 18 months away.
