There's a new Transformers 3 trailer but I'd advise against watching it since it seems to show a lot of the plot points (big and small) and action scenes

And besides, number 2 was... well, just that, a number 2

Yup, the entire movie's spoilt by 2'30" of footage.
I'd hate to sit through those 2'30" again. Maybe I'll just nip to the loo when they come up in the cinema. Or get out my mobile and have a really loud conversation while I kick the person seated in front of me. And get them to turn it up to 11. ;)

'seems'... And I never said the whole movie was spoilt :|

Just watched it, if that had've been a new movie to me, I'd have probably figured 'I'll catch it on TV in a year or two when I've forgotten everything I've just seen' ;)

Point is, you can't blindly say that the trailer gives away the whole film.
What I like about that clip is that it takes one of the hallmark teen movies of the eighties and with nothing more than a soundtrack and some canny editing, presents it in a whole different light.
Which is kind of my point - just because a trailer has lots of explosions and pithy one-liners, it's illogical to think that you've seen the film precis'd into 2'30".

I agree (the trailers for Fight Club are a good example, though that worked out for the best), but it detracts from the film IME when you already know what's coming next in major scenes...

Francis Lawrence Talks About I AM LEGEND And CONSTANTINE Prequels/Sequels...

THIS piece at MTV offers a chat with Francis Lawrence about whether or not a sequel or prequel to either CONSTANTINE or I AM LEGEND (both films he directed) will ever come about. The potential franchising of both titles has been rumored or indicated for several years now.

All of this per the interview embed below. But the short of it is...

Regarding the notion of a CONSTANTINE sequel, Lawrence says...

Over the years, CONSTANTINE seems like it has this kind of cult following...which has been great, it's been embraced, and it would be great to figure out a sequel. And if we did, and we've been trying to figure one out, it would be great to do the really, dark scary...we got caught in that weird PG-13 R no man's land...and we should do the hard R, scary version, which I would love to do"

When asked about the I AM LEGEND Prequel/Sequel/follow-up we heard was being mulled some time ago, the director succinctly indicates...

I don't think that's ever gonna happen...

Leave them well alone, they were pretty duff first time around :(

Oh yeah?

That film was such a wasted opportunity, led by the total miscasting of Keanu Reeves.
