I think it's brilliant, I'm just sad I've been asleep all day after a night shift... I've also enjoyed all of the documentaries surrounding the subject.

I watched it. I thought it was pretty impressive.
The best bit for me though was when everyone sang "God save the Queen", except the Queen, who just stood there. It just kind of reinforced the way Britain used to be and I imagined everyone singing to the Monarch over the last 250 years. I still think she should have worn her robe, crown, sceptre and that round-Xmas-pudding-like thing.

That round thing is the sceptre, I think . There is one rule that even The Queen has to stick to - You don't upstage the bride on her wedding day. The Queen may not be a 'normal person' but I'm sure she understands the value of tact. I didn't enjoy most of it as a such - I tend to find such pageantry rather dull so I was dipping in and out - but I have to applaud the staging; they made just about a perfect job of it. Plus she's patently up to the job of being a royal, given how well she handled everything today. Good luck to the pair of them. Jon

I thought a sceptre was basically a fancy stick.
EDIT: it's called the Sovereign's Orb.

The only thing that bothered me about it was the media coverage - Huw Edwards describing a woman's outfit in great detail was more than a little disturbing

having watched a bit of the highlights package on the BBC, the main thing that struck me is this - You wouldn't f!ck with Prince Harry. Either his uniform was really badly tailored - which, given they're made on Saville Row, it isn't - or he's been really hitting the gym at some point. He's about 4 foot across at the shoulders. Seriously, go check the photos of the two of them walking down the aisle. He's about twice the size of his brother.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

You may very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment. All I'm saying is that William is the spitting image of his father. Harry on the other hand looks far less similar to both his father and his brother.

I would bet on Hewitt going by looks.
I also wonder what questions would be asked if Harry was ever to ascend to the throne.

William has a good deal of his mother in his looks. Harry is more like Charles, only more good looking.

Well I would say that William looked more like Charles, and Harry like Diana (et al).
