12" vinyl single. No idea which artist, I just bought the cheapest one I could find. Had a bit of fun playing with a super macro setup which went like this; D90 body -> Extension rings -> 300mm Tamron (fungus in rear element) -> reversed 50mm. Trough to trough on the vinyl works out at something like 50 microns but this is a best guess from the information I could find, and there are quite a few undesireable effects in the image. It was fun none the less and there was one attempt that really surprised me.
I would like to see a stylus make sense of that.
