I've always taken it as a sign of my impending decrepitude that every year I look at the list and for more and more of them I think 'huh?' That and the fact that more and more the list seems to be dominated by women who, it seems to me anyway, the readership has been told are attractive, rather than they're making their minds up about themselves. I mean, that girl at No.1. What? She's been in one film that hasn't even been released and yet apparently she's the sexiest woman on planet earth? I'm sure her publicist will be pleased but it just makes the readership look like sheep. P.S. a bit of text editing Ernie, please  .

I probably could name half of them if you showed me a photograph but I have a pretty good memory for faces. The actresses & etc, apart from a couple I assume are soap actresses who I don't know. However most of the (I assume) fashion model types, wouldn't have a clue who they were. I'm sure they're all very pretty but *shrug*. The immediate thing I'm scratching my head about is this - you'd have to assume the large majority of people voting for these things are men, yes? But, generally speaking, the target market for soap operas is largely female and I know very few men who casually peruse the pages of Vogue. So how do they know who these women are to vote for them? I know about 45 of them, but I'd probably only be able to name 25 in a line-up.
I think they've got most of my top 5 in there, at least of hot women famous enough to make the list.
