Love the new mac track pads but get frustrated with the clicking. The default click is the left hand side with right click on the right which is logical but I find I click more on the right than left so change it on my own machine. This doesn't help when I am setting up new macs though. So what side do you click as my boyfriend thinks I'm loony clicking on the right.

I didn't know they had a side?
I just click with my thumb at the bottom and if I want a "right mouse click" I place 2 fingers on the pad and click with my thumb at the bottom.
You should be able to change the way the trackpad works in the setting though.

Where's the "I always plug in a USB mouse as I hate track pads" option?

Right side. Although isn't there a setting where you can make a two-fingered click a right-click? I'm not currently using my trackpad but IIRC I had that set.
BTW, I'm not using the trackpad because I'm currently playing a couple of very 'twitch' games and the pad isn't really suitable for them. I'm rather fond of it over all though. Actually,. now I think about it, I may bring it into work and use it here instead...

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

This. I have the trackpad click turned off on my C2D MacBook, though, and just use the honking great button at the bottom, where my thumb lives. Annoys some people no end, though.

I have no preference. I just use it or disable it, depending on what kind of work I'm doing and what kind of mood I'm in...

I thought PCs had trackpads too? Not come across any without the buttons yet but there may be some out there *shrugs* back

I always carry a Logitech Unify mouse and keyboard with me. I used to carry around a MS IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 and a Mac crumb-catcher or, later, an aluminium keyboard, but the Unify system is much better.

Where is the option for "I use a nipple as I know exactly what to do with it" option?

I hardly ever actually use the physical button on my MBP trackpad. Tap to click or two-finger tap for menus.
