Damn you guys. After seeing this thread resurface you've forced me in to buying some nicer soap, a razorpit & a markur hd 34c.

You don't need a razor pit. Do what I did and buy a sample selection of blades to try. Once you've found the perfect one, you can buy around 10 blades for £3, so around 70 blades for the price of a razorpit. If each blade lasts 3-4 shaves, you can get 280 shaves for £20.

Just outta curiosity, where did you buy your kit from?

You soft bloody pansy. Get a frakkin grip and get that chip stable before worrying about your sodding bumfluff. :D

The razorpit is for my Edwin Jagger Mach 3 I already own. If I'm running later for work I expect to use that rather than the DE.

I've got 30 or so blades coming (6 brands with 5 blades per brand)

Bought most of it from mankind (as they took paypal & I had some spare money in my paypal account)

I bought some of my stuff from mankind too. The other place I used was traditional shaving. It was nice to see both used paypal as it meant I didn't have to get out of bed and waddle over to my jacket.

Some of you seem to be spending an awful lot on shaving.

But the beard's not, the beard's not my friend. Hold on to that truth and the rest of the picture will complete itself. :D

cant stand beards but somehow I have one currently which means one thing :(

I ONLY have a beard when feeling down or something is bugging me etc, so its like a "happy meter" the longer my beard the more unhappy I am, if I am seen clean shaven then it means I am contempt
