Your fire wall was talking about Citreon's. It has good taste. I've no idea why people buy those unreliable excuses for cars anyway.

Have you ever seen a Frenchman work? They break for an early lunch which includes a couple of glasses of wine, they then come back late and break for an early dinner where more wine is consumed... Not really a surprise that cock-ups occur, eh?

It would make driving US imports over here much easier though. However I think you underestimate Citroen's capacity for crap engineering. If it wasn't the RHD conversion it would be something else. Random explosions perhaps.

You're also forgetting the continual coffee breaks so that anything resembling a train of thought is guaranteed to be in constant tatters (8-p)

As the majority of people are right handed and therefore have finer control of objects in their right hand, then if it comes to it I would prefer to see right hand drive across the globe. However in reality it isn't going to happen so until that time I'm not really bothered too much.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Brings back memories - When I was an apprentice for a Rover garage we serviced all the BSM Metro's and the mechanic I worked with would always get me to do the clutch and brake for him from the passenger seat... which was always highly amusing
