Just got a phone call from a mate. I'm going to Lord's on 18th July for the third day of the Ashes second test. Woohoo! :D

I was going to comment on the fact that getting a 'phone call from your best mate saying he'd won the Euro Millions and was going to give you a million pounds so you could retire sounded like even better news but decided that it might sound churlish, so I didn't bother.

;)  :etc:

Not at all, I just reminded him to take his camera and kept the "best news ever?" thoughts in my head.

Unlike you... ;) :P  :etc:

Lucky bugger! Don't know where I'm going to be yet.

Haven't been to Lord's since 1991, can't wait.

As for the best news ever? Yes, definitely.

I know a girl who went to Lords after a good night out, and was carrying a bag full of marital aids.
She was stopped by security, and had the contents of her bag emptied.
In front of her father and his business friends.
:D

She hadn't had time to get home and drop things off.

If I met a woman on a night out who when taken home had preplanned things a bought a selection of "toys" with her I don't know if I'd be worried or excited.

I think the ownership of a penis means you're not her target audience.
