You know, £3000 may sound like a worthwhile spend for a life sized replica Dalek, apparently made from the same moulds as those used for the TV. Hell, I’d almost be tempted at that price. But:

Quote:
But we know what you really want to ask – can I ride in it?

And the answer is – no! Unfortunately.

No sale, then Firebox.

However, the next sentence confuses me:

Quote:
This faithful replica is built in exactly the same way as the ones appearing on TV.

Made by this lot, it seems:

There is no way I would be allowed one even if I could afford one. We just don’t have the space.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Despite the fact that this reproduction TV prop enables the user to enter the inside of the Dalek, ‘this planet earth ltd’ do not recommend this action.

Possibly because the inside may not be well finished, sharp edges etc. or just generally be a bugger to get out of.
Build your own Dalek, I say. How hard can it be?

None of the plans include strategies to acquire space in the house to put the Dalek both during and after completion.
