There's a lot of it about, too. A series of James Bond films were shown not too long ago and they were cut both for content and to fit the adverts in.

I saw that. I've been watching friends and although I'm not a mega-fan, I can still spot the rather obvious cuts usually around sexual innuendo/slang eg hooker, pornstar, and yet they're happy to show potentially more "offensive" (if you can all it that) stuff in the series. Muppets.

FFS!
If you've spent all day trying to upload your CV to a job site, in .doc, .rtf and .pdf formats (as requested) and the site's not accepting any of your formats, it's not my [LIFTED] fault if I can't make it magically [LIFTED] work and you lose your days work!
My first suggestion of 'ring the company in the morning, whinge about their javascript uploader being [LIFTED] and ask for an email alternative for submission' was, I think, the best one, but no, you [LIFTED] ignored it and now it's my fault for their [LIFTED] site.
ARRRGGGGhhHHHH

No, I can't just magically fix every stumble your Windows laptop makes, sometimes things do just [LIFTED] up and yes, you will be set back.
Leave it till 10am, ring the head office number, complain.
Just leave me out of it.

Yes, I'm doing the ones supplied with the official book, picked up some Pluralsight vids to have a look at on it but not holding out much hope

Just saw a woman driving along at about 40 mph in a 30 zone but she wouldn't have noticed because she was doing her eyelashes in the rear view mirror at the time.

You were so surprised, you nearly dropped your shaver into your cup of coffee.

FFS Adobe, what the hell are you playing at? For about the fifth time this week it's updated, and then says "You must restart your system".

Why? What on earth is it doing to my OS that it needs a full system restart? It's just a glorified text reader - not a bloody device driver or root kit, I hope!

It was for this reason, and the fact that the installer more often than not fell over and failed, that I abolished Adobe Acrobat from my system. It appears Flash is going the same way.

Real conversation at a Fayre & Square pub....

Me: I'm really sorry to moan but I really don't like my dinner
Staff: What's wrong with it?
Me: Well I bought a 'BBQ Bucket' on the 'From The Grill' Menu but I'm sure the chicken wings are deep fried
Staff: Yeah..... (pause, looks at me like I'm an idiot)
Me: Well.... it's not BBQ or grilled. It doesn't say it's fried on the menu.
Staff: It does... (grabs menu and reads it, looks at me like I've just raped her child)
Me: Where?
Staff: (can't find the 'fried' bit anywhere) I'll get the manager

Then I had the EXACT conversation with the manager including the "yeah..." and looking at me like I've gone mad wondering why a grill menu has been deep fried.

Have you ever tried cooking chicken wings on a grill? It wouldn't even occur to me that they wouldn't be deep fried unles it was an actual barbecue which it obviously wasn't. If you came to me with that complaint, I'd just look at you like you were retarded. :?
