Had some of my blood test results back, no increased numbers of white blood cells so it would appear the issue is not an infection. Still waiting on the other tests.

Ooh, pay days. I remember those. Hopefully, they'll become a part of my life again soon.  Morning. In to the day job for the first time today. I think it'll be a day of sorting paperwork and getting set up with passwords and systems. I feel like I'm 12 all over again, and it's my first day at secondary school. Morning. Culture shock. I don't think I've ever worked in a studio that big before. Must be getting on for 50 people, writers, webmonkeys, editors, designers, artworkers, all beavering away at what they do. Three design teams altogether. And lil ole me, with my Mac mini, shonky chair and now idea what I'm supposed to be doing! Luckily, I've been assigned to a team, and the leader get giving me stuff to do. All I have to do now is learn the important things like: do they publish the staff restaurant menu so I can save myself a walk if I don't fancy it; the names of my co-workers (because I forgot them altogether almost as soon as I arrived). Back in Monday. I hope I can make it last.   Best Beloved is away this weekend.
