I have to admit, that was pretty quick how they got it work on their phones. From what I read we can expect one of these in shops by the end of the year. I quite like the look of the Windows Phone 7 OS but I don't think I will be buying one. We all know how long it took Android to provide at least satisfactory experience. Saying that, Nokia must be pretty desperate to make this work so maybe they will bring the break for WP7 OS that MS seems can't deliver... video: http://youtu.be/F6oidCTUw4syou will need to scroll to 2:30 to see the phone

I don't like Windows Phone 7 because it requires a Windows PC to be fully functional, never mind everyone else eh, Microsoft?
Anyhoo, is it just me or are all W7 handsets very square?

Yes, but given the 'tiles' interface that's not a surprise IMO. A lot of the time when you mix squares and curves it looks.... wrong. You need consistency of design. So if the GUI is full of squares, you tend to make the device more square to match it better. Jon

OK, I'll go again: I don't like WP7 because it requires proprietary software in order to put content on your device. Give me cross-platform compatibility and drag-and-drop.

It has cross-platform compatibility just not Linux and lets face it, there's no drive for MS to make software for Linux at all. As a group they are the least likely to buy a windows phone. Although in Windows you can get it to drag n drop. Although did you expect MS not to use a proprietary software tool to put content on the device?

I don't know, those corners look sharp.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.
