Yeah I didn't need to click on the link to figure it was gonna be House and lupus - never watched more than an episode of house but gathered enough from fellow docs.

Anyway, with a single criterion of lightheadedness it's highly unlikely to be lupus. It'll be: cardiogenic, neurogenic or metabolic, not autoimmune.

Try breathing more. Or less. One of them might work.

Anyone heard from him in the last 12 hours..? There's a fair amount of medical history here involving both the brain and surgery involving tying off large arteries, so the unlikely may be more likely

My serious advice? Your GP is lot better qualified to diagnose any potential complications than the internet!

OK, so we've established it's not Lupus. Have you had your eyes checked recently?

It might not sound obvious, but I'm having slight lightheadidness issues at the moment, and I'm fairly certain it's down to the fact that I'm wearing contacts today, for the first time in... ages.

Ever since you mentioned it I've been thinking you might be right. I got these current glasses over 18 months ago (possibly 2 years?) so it's about time they were renewed I think.
