Back home from our holiday in Blighty. Glad to be home, what a disaster. :(

I'll give a full report later, but suffcie to say, we only got back by the skin of our teeth! The first train from Brighton to London was cancelled, we got to London and no tube service to Liverpool Street, so we ended up walking nearly the whole way, then the traint to Stanstead was cancelled, but at least there was the bus service...

When we got to the counter, the woman looked at my passport and said "ah, Mr Wright, and this must be the Ts," pointing at my girlfriend and her daughters,"we've been waiting for you, you are the last to arrive."

To say the girls were stressed and in a bad mood would be an understatement!

Morning.

If it hadn't been for a massive stockpile of podcasts, I doubt I'd have survived yesterday at work. I'm engaged in a rather repetitive and tedious job of updating house style on hundreds of maps. More of the same today...

In other news, it seems my neck and back issues are responding to the osteopathic treatments. This is good.

The weather is currently fine, but the weatherguessers are predicting rain tonight, and a changeable outlook for the rest of the week. It'll be interesting to drive to and from work in inclement weather for a change.

Have a good day, folks. *wave*

Morning all,

Lovely hazy sunny start to the day, although we may get some rain later.

Have a good one.

Oh well, have a great day everyone.

Greetings World!

Kitties spaying and castration booked in, I have learnt to scythe, the paddock clearing is going well and we've started measuring up for the chicken run. Work continues to be an unwelcome distraction from my home-life, full of lastminute.com travel arrangements and irritating people, but I work to live instead of living to work so needs must when the bills need paying!

I hope the weather holds tonight so we can finish clearing the rubbish out of the paddock and get some relaxing time with the kitties. I also have a copy of the Lovecraft Necronomicon to start reading!

Happy Days!

Afternoon all. Got a day off work today, having worked 8 days straight with a fair bit of overtime. In other exciting news I've just been made a mod on a reasonably sized hifi forum, which is rather fun.

Morning.

Change in the weather, which is nice.

You know I believe the world has gone barking mad? Well, current events seem to be confirming my thesis. Actually, it's not the world as such, it's the humans on it. They're all mad. The ones with the power and the money. Mad as a box of frogs. The rest of us suffer because of their madness.

This rabbit hole never seems to end.

Morning all,

Feeling really quite tired. I was pushed out of bed and onto the sofa last night due to my snoring.
Went to Derby yesterday to update some values on a train only to find that I needed a parallel port but the laptop I'd picked up didn't have one...

I hope today is quiet.
