OK - first of all apologies to you all for deserting you. I was on holiday and either travelling, taking pics or getting drunk. I was mostly successful in the third instance.

Anyway, Voting will now commence for this month. I will leave it open for a week and therefore it will close on Tuesday 12th July unless the majority feel a shorter spell of voting is in order?

The rules:

* Voting occurs for one week from midnight tonight until midnight on the 12th July.

* Please vote for your favourite three images.

* You cannot vote for your own image*

Your 1st choice will be awarded 5 points.
Your 2nd choice will be awarded 3 points.
Your 3rd choice will be awarded 1 point.

If there is a draw on say for example 15 points, then the image with the least number of votes will win, such that an image with 3 votes for 5 points will defeat the image with 5 votes for 3 points. It won't be the '2nd best' for everyone, but it will be the 'best' for the few. If it's good enough for a Grand Prix then it is good enough for here.

Please try and keep this thread for votes only, it will make it easier for me to tally up later. If you must comment on images and decisions then please do so in the original thread (once it is unlocked).

This thread will run for 1 week only closing at midnight on Tuesday 12th July. At that time the winner will have the option of choosing the next theme, and the deadline for entries to that theme will be the end of the current month.

Most importantly, good luck to all entrants.

Al

No problem here for ending voting early. Probably best to see how many votes we get in from the usual suspects beforehaand though.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

[edit] No problems here, if you want to close the voting a couple days early.

Feels like quite a while since we had this much choice.

Just line them up in order of preference.
