A mate of mine went there last year and again this year. Some of the queues are horrendous, and after standing in a queue for over four or five or six hours, you're still not guaranteed to get in to the hall or event room that you've spent all that time in line for.
It's a huge gamble and not something I'd ever be inclined to waste my time, effort and money on doing.
He posted a vid on YouTube of him walking one of the queues, I'll find it and post it in the YouTube videos thread.

It does actually warn you of this on the website. Good advice. I would like to try it once but I am not that fussed considering the security excesses nowadays.

Really nice, Veato. Like the simplicity. At least that's what I say.
As for the rest of you. San Diego is reputedly (and I have a friend or two there) very lovely. So I'd be happy to make it a week and do some surfing, driving, shopping, and other fun stuff and then if I had to queue all weekend, I wouldn't feel so bad.
