Even so when you have people who feel ignored by society then they take things into their own hands. It could be the same reason why people will vote for the BNP even if they have no violent tendencies. He seems to have felt that Norway was taking too many Muslims in or that something else was not being addressed. I am not justifying his actions. Though he may have felt that was his only way of making his point. The fact that he had not spoken to his father for 15 years could be a sign he was a sociopath so who knows?

Yes it does depend on the reason for not talking to them. But there was a lot of problems in his world.

They should make him wear a prision uniform (like the do in the States).

I'm not so sure about the links anyway tbh. Most of what I've seen reported seems to have emanated from a particular anti-fascist group who have.. well, a vested interest in getting Breivik linked to the people they are campaigning against. That would, legally speaking, be considered hearsay. Have we actually had a statement from the UK or Norwegian police saying such links existed? Not that I would mind at at all if the EDL went away but y'know the line about how you have to be careful when fighting monsters...
