Great race, forum was brilliant.

I've still not seen the forum as I watch from iPlayer (sure it's a red button thingy), probably never will now. Anyway what's it all aboot?

Yes red button thingy.

Basically the presenters go walk about off script.

Go meet the fans ( literally ), get involved in all sorts of "off the record conversations," get involved in the celebrations with the winning team. Got them selves thrown in the swimming pool in Monaco. Interview people at random from the teams who never normally get to be seen.

Cheers. I saw a comment that some one from the crowd shouted their displeasure at what the BBC were doing and thought that I didn't remember seeing it. Must have been the forum.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

The F1 Forum's usually on the iPlayer as well as the qually and race - well worth a look.

Great race yesterday, shame it wasn't a Maclaren 1-2, but Button did drive a brilliant race. Good to see Di Resta finish in a solid 7th for a few points too. Still can't get my head round how it's going to work on the BBC next year, I loved the few little digs that Martin Brundle slipped into the commentary though.

Was a great race, I liked that all the cars had no grip and there was lots of cars going off the track or going sideways
Dam shame about team lotus both retiring
Even bigger shame for Heidfeld, having your car go up in flames for the second time must be a real bitch, but for it to explode as well, WHOA!

But you have to pay that regardless don't you? If so wouldn't you need to add that on to the cost of the Sky subscription if you're making a comparison?

I think that was the point though.

At the moment we get it for £10 a month.

When it moves to sky you'd have to pay £10 a month plus the subscription (and HD and Sky Sports) for the same viewing that you currently get for £10 a month.

Wonder how many will stay with the BBC and only watch the highlights when no live racing is available.

I would say I was a die hard fan who tries to watch every Qually and race live I also have Sky HD etc but dont sub to the Sports channels so atm I'am weighing up what is the right or wrong course of action.

I'm a bit pissed at the BBC for allowing it to happen tbh so I have mixed feeling for that to do next season viewing wise.

The post I read only had Sky basic sub(£15), sky sports package(£12), and HD supplement(£10), making £37/month. So it's £37 compared to £0, or £47 compared to £10 by my understanding. Is this not correct?

I will because as long as I can see it on iPlayer that suits me well enough.

Ah, yes. True :-)

F1 considers DRS ban at famous Eau Rouge

The right hander after Eau Rouge is a natural overtaking point. Why not enable DRS on the approach to the right hander?

Great race. Yeah Vettel won, but at least we only saw him for a few minutes because of all the other battles. Great, high speed, wheel to wheel racing. Monza and other high speed circuits pile shame on certain others.

Also nice to see a big smash at the 1st corner. :P

Jenson Button fastest as Sebastian Vettel crashes

How much would you like that to be the headline on Sunday?

I don't know if anyone else follows Martin Brundle's twitter feed but he posted this pic of the Williams cars parked up at the same corner

Image

Also good for Button for re-signing for McLaren.
