Morn'

Effing Performance Development Review paperwork is my bugbear of the day. I have sorted out my filing, done a load of expenses, emptied my "To Do" folder and nearly finished re-writing my "To Do" list. It's a properly hectic day but all I want is to get home, get out into the paddock and get scything!! Bring on the weekend!!

Bleh! Still ill.

Taking eucalyptus capsules, which give me the squits, make me feel sick and I belch eucalyptus all the time (it burns the throat!)... At least I can breath easier and the migrane is gone!... :?

@Dave :shock:

Strikes me, sometimes the cure is worse than the illness. It's also struck me that some people take exercise to an extreme, and then complain about the pain it causes them.

What an odd world we live in.

Morning all.

Log. I slept like one. Feeling somewhat refreshed today, and reasonably cheerful. It won't last.

Morning,

Nearly finished the the paddock!! Just the bits between the places that the greenhouses used to be to be done and hopefully that will be finished tonight. Pic for them as is interested:

Image

I'll post another when it's finished. Front flower border needs weeding and front hedge needs a bit of trimming which again, hopefully I'll get done tonight, then the garden will officially be ready for the weekend. Hangi pit is dug (nearly) and there's just the house-cleaning to go which can be done Friday and Saturday *Hurrah* I am quite looking forward to the weekend; pig in a pit, impala and kangaroo burgers on the BBQ and a load of friends and family around to celebrate another year of me 8-)

Work today is tiring already, I woke up feeling tired and I'm ready to go home now. I'm driving faaaaaaaar south tomorrow to collect my Grandmother in Sussex and then back to work for one more (short) day on Friday. Bring on the coffee.

Morning all.

Last nights rain appears to have done nothing but increase the humidity round here

Ah well, never mind. I'm typing this on a shiny new (well Core2Duo E8400) computer - still a major step up from the Pentium 4 disaster area I had before.

Have a great day folks.

Not with an attitude like that it won't! ;)

Evening all,

Took the new bicycle out for a ride today, it's a lot harder than I remember (from when I was 10) although I'm still determinded to attempt a ride to work on Friday.

Off to post some questions in the Random S*** thread.

Enjoy your day 8-)

Morning.

I poured some water over my car yesterday, in a cursory attempt at washing it. Today it rains. Coincidence? I think not.

Later, I'm taking the bike back to the shop. I want the handle bar rake adjusted, but I can't undo the nuts. I also want a softer, wider saddle, and I'll get some lights, a lock and a pump while I'm at it.

(I can do these things because the Treacle Mines have paid a couple of my invoices. It's nice to see a healthy bank balance, even if it's for a short while.)

Onwards and sideways.
