Morning all,

In London for the weekend!
Not entirely sure we have a lot planned, but I'm sure it'll all be fun.
I get to ride the tube! :D one of my favourite bits of London.

We went out to a bar/restaurant last night called 64andSocial, it was amazing, fillet steak and a drink for £16! And it was probably the best steak I've ever had!

Lo peeps

Well that's another 500 mile journey completed. This time I had my sis for a passenger - 488 miles of being talked at  (it was a convoy of 2 and her hubby picked her up 12 miles short of journeys end).

Morning all.

Back to work tomorrow - which means it'll be mid afternoon before I've dealt with the hundreds of emails I received in the last two weeks. Why do people ignore out of office and keep firing the frikkin things at you when you're away, rather than remember who the alternate contacts are from the previous six bloody times they sent something?

Greetings.

Had a nice afternoon yesterday. There was a row with Best Beloved which resulted in him getting out of the car in a huff and me squealing off down the road! Then I turned round and picked him up again. All over a stupid sat nav and useless map directions. We found where we were supposed to be eventually, and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon without fisticuffs.

We've forgiven and forgotten now. These things happen, and it's no good stewing over them.

Today, I shall be ignoring Twitter, most of the internet and the TV news. I know what the story is, and regurgitating it over and over, while asking banal questions that can't be answered yet, won't make it any more palatable. I shall concentrate on doing the laundry, getting out on the bike, and going through my photo portfolios.

Persistent precipitation prevents perambulation......... at least so far today. Have not seen the news for at least four days Heather so nothing to affect me there then (so quoteth ostritch Al). I had the same argument with myself the other day when my sat nav tried to direct me left into a canal :o but I'm back speaking to myself now.

Having a marathon curry making session today :D With 8 people to cater for, each one with a different taste/spice requirement, it should be both a challenge and fun. Thinking about it there's Patia, Korma, Chashni, Dopiaza and Massala so only five variations to consider. Will be scoffing the results tomorrow.

Couldn't sleep this morning, woke up at 7. House cleaning blitz currently underway. Taking a 5 minute break.

We watched "The Tourist" last night, it got high praise, but it was plodding, predictable and we'd worked out the twists in the first 15 minutes of the film.

Morning all,

No idea why I came in this morning, got a headache, cough and I've had about 5 hours sleep.

Anyway, I've paid for all day parking now, so I'm stuck here at least until this afternoon, better get on with it.

Enjoy your day 8-)

Morning all,

Up at five to take Kalena to work. Mrs V. has taken the two youngers to her mums for a few days, and I'll make a start on decorating the bathroom in a couple of hours.

Have a great day everyone.

:)

Morning.

If the best the jobs market can offer me is part-time temporary contracts, I guess I should just go with it. Some money is better than none, after all.

I didn't get out on the bike at all over the weekend, sadly. Apart from the iffy weather at times, I simply didn't have the time or inclination. I must remedy this attitude.

Happy Monday, everyone. Enjoy!

My body clock was properly confused by the fact that it was Monday when I got up, it had definitely moved onto Tuesday already without me. I'm feeling really rather discombobulated as a result. Hopefully the coffee will remedy that.
