Clearly, I have missed something here, because I thought you found a job quite recently.

Ta.

I did have a job, which I hoped might be a full-time one. It turned out to be a freelance gig, so I only got five weeks of work.

Still, five weeks of reasonably good money hasn't been sniffed at.

Morning all. A little hung over this morning, free beer at the beer festival last night seemed like a good idea at the time.

Also looks like there is something up with my broadband as well as the connection doesn't seem to be able to stay up. Typical!

Anyway, have a great day folks.

Is that Broadband/brewers droop then ;)

Well, whatever it was it seems to have rectified itself.

Hmm, odd. I've had a couple of times this year when my back has been a bit iffy presumably from sitting in front of a PC everyday, started going to a physio and it's been really helping, hence my question.

If it's a one off thing, that's probably no help!

Bit better this morning. I think it'll be ok tomorrow. Just need to be careful with how I move around. :)

Cheers Ollie. I'll review that shortly.

I was just glad to see the back of the thing. I've been trying to get it all updated and so on since January!

Oh yes, which bit? Large portions of Bolton are indeed 'northern mill town' but there are also some nice bits I could recommend, restaurants etc.

I'll be near the Reebok Stadium where the seminar is being held, I don't have many plans for sightseeing, it's long old days of hard work I suspect I shall be fit for not much more than collapsing with a beer in the evenings.

Ah, right. well, if you don't fancy staying in the hotel, there's a nice pub quite near the Reebok. If you head away from the stadium towards the motorway, go across the first roundabout (over the M61) then at the second roundabout go right, onto the A6/Blackrod bypass. The pub is on the right, called the Brinsop Arms. IIRC they do food as well. If you're staying in the Ramada hotel on the A6 it's about 5 minutes walk down the road.

I'll try that one tomorrow, I got here quite late after a fantastically picturesque drive through Buxton and Sterndale I ended up going to the Beehive beside my Premiere Inn ;) Still, I've had a pint and some dinner, sorted out internet through the 3 dongle and now I'm cooling down before bed!
