Morning World,
I feel a slippery slope of frustration, irritation and stress coming on. I've finished my PDR and it reads like quite a tale of woe. I have sent it already to stop myself editing it falsely though. Today is proving to be more frustrating and irritating than yesterday, but I have been able to say (or email) a resounding "NO" to someone who is frankly extracting the urine at my expense! Small victory, but a victory nonetheless.

Morning all, Feeling a bit energyless again today, could be to do with another early start and the fact yesterday felt like a Friday. Off to a legal advice meeting this afternoon, all I'll say is, I hate gyms, and I hate their contracts. Enjoy your day

Greetings.
L'Atomo di Forza is away having his MOT and some fluids drained and restocked. Hopefully there won't be too much else that needs attention.
I still haven't done my VAT and income tax returns. The former is the more important, as there's a deadline I have to hit, so I had better crank open the spreadsheet and get inputting. It won't take long.
Thursday already? Meh.

The Wench gets back from her 2.5 week extravaganza in France today, it's been a long time for sure.

Morning all.
Works summer fun thing this afternoon (free food and the afternoon off, well sort of). Fingers crossed for something in the raffle. It's a pitty the weather forecast this afternoon is so dismal.
Have a great day folks

Morning all.
Overslept this morning. Forgot to set the alarm last night, and woke up 25 minutes after I should have been at my desk!
So, superfast shower, dressed and out the door. Got to work at 9am.
I need a shave.
Have a good one.

I'd been lucky thus far, but my Grandpa died last Monday. Since he was my first grandparent to pass away, I wasn't quite sure how I'd react, but I don't think I particularly surprised myself. I'm somewhat irritated that my overriding feeling is that of regret/annoyance at not being able to know him any better than I did, as from what I'd heard of him he was really rather interesting, and I'd like to think I share some of his traits, both good and bad. He'd managed to live a varied and interesting life, but went downhill rather rapidly and suffered a torrid 18 months following the death of his wife, Betty.
We've no idea, so far as I'm aware, what the funeral arrangements will be yet, but there's no way we'll be able to attend, unfortunately, so all we can do is send our love and wishes, and hope for a good attendance.
At the least my remaining two grandparents are still going strong, and seem to be enjoying a new lease of life since moving down to the Midlands.
