Nice and bright this morning. Let's hope it stays that way, because having to put lights on a 4pm on an August afternoon just is plain wacko.

Morning all,
it was a long and stressful day - I'm too old for this sh*t (getting up at 3:30 to fly from one end of the country to another, just for a meeting).
Day was very successful though. Boss was very happy with the way things went.
Got back in time to join the girls in the restaurant, after they'd just finished their starters.
Was in bed before 9, read a bit, then slept through until nearly 9 this morning.

Afternoon world! Woke up just before noon with two cats asleep on me and a dead leg. We had egg and bacon sandwiches for breakfast and have been out to the LFS to get more filter sponge for the kitchen tanks and some more goldfish buddies for the two rescue goldfish, they're currently getting to know each other.  I've done some of my fish water changes, and am about to go upstairs to do the last tank, also getting ratty and mousie out to feed Cyril tonight, he didn't eat last week because he was in shed so I suspect he'll be hungry. I'm quite looking forward to having all my chores done today so tomorrow can be an even (if possible) lazier day. I also plan to sort out the kitchen, change the sheets and do some laundry since it's so windy outside, really in a mood to "achieve" today. _________________The Official "Saucy Minx" This above all: To Thine Own Self Be True "Red sky at night, Shepherds Delight"..Which is a bit like Shepherds Pie, but with whipped topping instead of mashed potato.

Ahoy Hoy! My Schwager is coming for a week starting tomorrow and then wife and I are going to Germany for two weeks. [edit] Sorry!
