Greetings. Feeling a bit bleh this morning. Hope it goes away. John, we appreciated you, really we do. Don't ever think otherwise.

I guess it's officially "Evenin' All" for me.
I slept until 14:30 today and it's taken me ages, a full breakfast, coffee and tea to feel even remotely awake. I have that zombie thing happening where I feel like I'm in a dreamworld and could easily just fall back asleep again with no effort required!
Still, the wind is blowing hard and drying my laundry, we got the rug put down in the spare room which is starting to look more like a spare room and less like a dumping ground, new sewing machine treadle table is going in this weekend (well, actually it's a 1914 very old Singer treadle table) which will make it even better and then we just have a few bits to give back to people who loaned them to us when we moved in and had no furniture, then it'll really be good.
I love these Sundays, all my usual Sunday chores got done yesterday which leaves me with nothing to do today but please myself, it's a good feeling!!

Monring all,
went to Piesberg yesterday. It is the biggest hill in Osnabrück and where they used to mine coal, among other minerals. On the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, in Summer, they have an old narrow guage train that takes visitors up through the stone works (slate), where you can then climb the remaining 300 steps to the top of the hill, then back down again and into the museum and go down into the main tunnel used for transporting the coal to the harbour. A very interesting day.
Prices also not too bad, 2€ per person for the train and 6.50€ for a family ticket for the museum.
I got a whole bunch of photos, importing them at the moment, I'll see if I got anything useful...

Morning.
I set up some online stuff with HMRC on Saturday, so I need to check they got it all okay today or tomorrow. I have to say, setting up the account was like it really should be, no mess, no fuss.
Ages ago I said I'd like to team up with a friend's husband for photography stuff. I never did call him back to arrange anything, so I need to remedy that. He prefers afternoon and evening photos, where I'm normally up at sparrow's fart to get the picture. I had a brainwave, though: how about a night shoot, dusk through to dark. So, that's my plan and I'll see if he likes the idea.
I seek them here, I seek them there; can't find those jobs anywhere. Job seeking. Sheesh.
Have a good week folks!

Morning all, Rainy and miserable weather here. Only got a four day week as I managed to get Friday off to run a few errands, namely taking the car for a service and attempting to go to Immigration to see if they can answer some questions regarding my residency. Oh it's also my lady friend's birthday, so they'll be some presents and drinks to be had. Enjoy your day
