Morning World, Weighed Cyril last night, the little porker is 18oz and 9cm around the biggest part of him, he's getting longer too, he was 32 inches at the end of July had a good evening which ended with Red Dwarf and ice cream before bed, a nice sleep and now I'm raring to get the new season kick-off meeting finalised, expenses logged and in the post and travel packs to Paris issued!! Have a great Thursday everyone!!

Morning. Those Libyans need to up their game if the Path to Persia is to run to script. Syria next, then Yemen, I think. We decided yesterday, as we're being bequeathed a superannuated G4 Mac mini I can use as a scanner station, to buy it a shiny monitor. I quite liked the look of an HP model, but PissyWhirled was out of stock everywhere. We tripped to our local store and had a look at the offerings. As ever, the one I liked on the shelf was the only one in the entire world, and not for sale for some obscure reason. There was a newer version on the shelves below, boxed and ready to go, appeared to have the same specs and was the same price so we took it. Only when we get it home to we realise it doesn't have DVI, only VGA and HDMI. The one on the shelf had all three... On the point of packing it all up and storming back to the store, Best Beloved suggested there ought to be an adaptor from DVI to HDMI. He was right, of course, and it's been ordered. I tested the new shiny out on the MacBook Pro with a jury-rigged concoction of cables and adaptors to VGA. It works, but my goodness is VGA rubbish! Anyway, onwards and sideways. Got to clear BB's side of the desk before I can actually retrieve the mini and install the scanner.

Lo peeps Took the car through to the garage in Inverness yesterday for its first MOT (and service). Being an 'Onda they did a valet on it before it was returned. I'm kinda sorry I spent 2 days cleaning the faffing thing now......... Today I have to go to the docs to give blood. I am hoping to get the sexy young nurse put will probably get the battle-hardened Weegie that prefers to use blunt drainpipes instead of needles. Oh well Al

Morning all, sleepy today. If Arriva have kept their word, there will be a train in the depot ready for us to fix. But we've been asking for it for the last week, so there are no guarantees... Then off to Cardiff this evening --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=52.416924,-4.080948

Mornin' Need a photo comp entry. I've been trying to come up with one for ages, but the brain isn't working. I'm grumpy again. Neck ache doesn't help. Neither does the fact I can't hit the right keys int he rightordwer toaay.

Morning all. A little hung over this morning, free beer at the beer festival last night seemed like a good idea at the time.
Also looks like there is something up with my broadband as well as the connection doesn't seem to be able to stay up. Typical!
Anyway, have a great day folks.
