Customers revolt as Twinings changes the flavour of its Earl Grey tea http://www.telegraph.co.uk/foodanddrink ... y-tea.html

I suspect it's a PR job as these things usually turn out.

I quite enjoy a cup of Earl Grey. Twinings would not be my first choice.

I can quite happy use any other brand rather than Twinings. Yes Earl Grey is very nice but I also switch between Darjeeling and Assam.

Twinnings isn't my favourite, the Earl Grey blend at my local tea shop is one of my favourites, but at the moment my tea of choice is a ceylon, black, and not too strong.

Yes but that is the future, maybe he is drinking the new Twinings version?

They’ll have both versions in their database. He’s made his choice.

So if it doesn't taste like Fairy Liquid anymore, what does it taste like?

I prefer my tea to be tea flavoured.
On a similar note, I prefer my women to be women flavoured. There's nothing worse that licking a girl and then having your tongue swell up and falling into a chemically induced coma. Seriously; perfume is evil. Just leave it out.

Agreed with JJ on all fronts!! I'm really not a fan of Earl Grey at all, it's way too perfumed for my liking.
