I've just Youtubed the trailer. The quality looks good but I still hate the character redesigns. Far too much like anime (though I know the original cartoon was done by japanese artists, it still looked better IMO).

I've just watched the first two episodes. Mixed reactions. Hate the anime look of the show, but Cheetarah's still hot and still has big boobs.
The background of the characters is quite different and I can kinda see what's going to happen. The storyline is better and I like the fact they brought in some of the old characters in from the start.
Don't get the idea about the technophobia that's going on.

Just watched the first seven episodes over the course of the last few days.
The whole thing has been rebooted. The origin story is completely different. I've enjoyed the writing - the story arc which appears to stretch over this season is bloody good! But little things here and there really bring it down for me.
****S P O I L E R S*****
The ThunderCats are not "noblemen" as they were in TOS, whose aim was to serve the Lord of the Thundercats. Tygra is LionO's brother. There's no Thundercat symbol! Everyone has red circles but there's nothing there - just blank. In TOS the Thundercats symbol would be present. The Sword of Omens is more akin to the 200x MOTU power sword - a mix of tech and magic. In TOS, the Eye of Thundera was a unique power, almost autonomous. It would work when it wanted to or needed to, otherwise it "slept". In the new series, it's just a magic crystal that makes the sword powerful. No links to the Thundercats' power or anything. Neither Jaga nor Panthro/Thundertank have their own theme.
Worth watching for the story but for me, the niggles just ruin it. i keep imagining it as TOS
*****End of Spoilers****

I've just been catching up on the last few episodes.
Some of the story arcs have been awesome but two major issues I have:
Cheetarah and her flirting between two guys and yet she's already pre-selected one of them.
Panthro and what they did to him. I'll never forgive them for that!

I don't think at have seen the whole series from start to end. Cartoon Network seems to just cycle the same episodes.

I think the latest is episode 13. That was in November, though I've only just caught up. The next half of the series is due to start in the next few weeks.
