bubsy on mega drive was my first ever game, even though I was 4 I still remember it!

theme hospital, got me into pc games
runescape (got me into online games..)
guild wars
C&C red alert (and the others)
counter strike source

tekken (particularly tekken tag)
need for speed!

there the best games I have ever owned to be honest, each one different but still brilliant!

I got into gaming late (mid 30's) mainly on the pc:

Shogun Total War
Ceasar 3
Half Life + the new lot
Call Of Duty (still play it on line at times :D )+ the later ones up to CoD Modern warfare
F.E.A.R scared the crap out of me at times in the early hours & loved the on-line play
Deus Ex which i still play & is sitting on top of my pc as i type 8-)
Civ 2
Unreal Tournament
Battlefield 2

most of these i still play fairly regularly

yours wecrookie

I re-installed Deus Ex with the New Vision mod. It looks a lot more modern :)

Oh, probably not in chronological order but:

Dune II
Civilization, Civ 2 and Civ 4 (civ 3 never seemed that good next to civ 2).
Command & Conquer
Starcraft
Sid Meiers Alpha Centauri (I so wish I could still play this but computer says no).
Escape Velocity & EV Nova, EV Override was never as good as the original IMHO.
Age of Empires of various vintages
C&C Generals - I know it's not brilliant but I do enjoy playing it.
Frontier Elite was also brilliant (I have a sneaking suspicion that was on my friends Atari ST).
Rescue (I think that's what is was called - rescue collonists in the Star Trek universe, well at least until Paramount did their nut and the names all changed slightly).

Bit of a pattern there me thinks and might explain why I like Gratuitous Space Battles so much at the moment.
