 Would it help if I said it's from a dream sequence that takes place on a TV set while our hero is napping? Obscure is not a word I'd use to describe the film in question. Think mainstream 80s.

In which case it's either Ferris or BTTF. ...and here I was thinking the clucking chicken on TV with Ian Curtis' just-out-of-frame swinging feet would be too obscure to post.
