That is awful.

At least I didn't have to buy the updates like I would with a Mac if I was installing from a 10 year old CD ;)

Well the latest "patch" was only £21 and can be installed on ten machines so is not that expensive per machine for a year of updates. 8-)

It gets easier.

I think you should be able to slipstream features into your unborn child, like recent firmware updates and driver support. So inefficient that each one starts off back at version 1.0.0.0.0.1

Technically wouldn't they be betas as they are pretty useless for quite some time and like voice controlled software, it takes ages to train and still gets instructions wrong. ;-)

Bugger! The metal ring on my Trip 35 has done a good job in scratching the body of my Pentax K5. That'll teach me to put them in the same bag!

The cnut from the VAG forum in my previous post has just contacted me via PM. Asks if I got his previous message - apparently couldn't make it then and wants to know when I'm next free. Unluckily for him, exams mean not for a month!

Wonder what my response should be!

Interestingly, unlike normally when he posts almost daily, since the no-show, he's not been posting on the forum but he has been online. Guilt?

Went to the cinema this evening with the Wench to watch Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. About 20 minutes or so from the end, the power goes out in the cinema. No reveal, no idea who did it or how. We've got free tickets to another showing, but dammit I want to know the answers!!!!
