So what do you normally listen to in the car?

iPod plugged into USB head unit or the Radio. Hardly have any CDs in the car at all. I've got some audio equipment to put in the new car I havent gotten around to since I got rid of the old banger.

Usually the radio. I did carry a few CDs around, but I get bored with them. The radio is better company anyway. Not sure if the new car plays mp3 disks or not. It's a Sony, but I think it's pretty basic despite being huge and complicated looking

Most of the time, I listen to the car. Unless it's a long journey, then I listen to the car sometimes, or a CD via a cassette adaptor. Used to be a MP3 CD player, but that got robbed, and I've other things to spend my money on.

I used to listen to MP3s from my Sony player, but my new motor can play MP3s off CD. As there's no convenient place to put the Sony where I can get at the controls, I'm using MP3 CDs instead (it can take 7, so I think that's enough for now).

mp3 discs, so I voted other. As to me, CDs means audio CDs and mp3s means a PMP of some kind.
Would prefer some kind of solid state solution, but not an iPod. I'm a quality freak as well, so it needs to be 320k CBR for the most part.

I voted radio, because that's what I listen to most.
I have a MiniDisc player in the car head unit. Since having the windscreen replaced earlier this year, I've not reinstated the DAB system that lets me plumb my iPod into it and hear it on FM. It'll get put back when I get new cable clips.

Radio. Unlike my last car, which had a cassette stereo, my current more posh car has a CD player. The only way I can use my iPod is to use a radio tuner, and that is not very satisfactory. It tends to detune or need the car’s radio to be retuned. In the old car, I had an adapter which worked through the cassette player.
My plan is to get an iPod compatible stereo for the new car before the long week of driving holiday I have planned in August.
But at the moment, it’s the radio.

Radio 2/5 Live mainly, but MP3s if I get bored of the chatter.

The chatter winds me up. I was stuck in the worst snarl-up I have ever experienced on the M4 last year, and I had the radio on for news. It was maddening after a while. People on Jeremy Vine’s show should be shot.

Currently the multichanger, good for a drive home and back just about
Take my ipod to plug into the head unit via cassette adapter too if I get bored, still got to install my Harmon Kardon drive + Play kit for a proper iPod unit lol
