Cast your eye over this - http://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/+/www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/BuyingAndSellingAVehicle/RegisteringAVehicle/DG_10014199. I'm not sure where you stand if the car's still registered etc. though.

It's all legit AFAIK so I'm good on that. It's SORNed at the minute because it's been stood a while, so i'll just have to sort that out and it's good to go :)

Wouldn't stand much chance a bit further north, had my ass kicked by a number of old school minis with honda bike engines in them (not that I'm complaining in a stock car)

Fixed :)

Yup. Currently saving for the next thing. New front springs arrived, which means I now have new shocks, dampers and poly bushes waiting to go on the car.
While they're doing all that though, there's new ball joints to go in, and while they're doing that, they might as well stick on a new idler arm and inner tie rods.
Then at the rear, my fuel pump's getting noisy, which usually means a new one is in the car's future. It's also mounted in the petrol tank.
Which means while they've got the rear end apart fitting the suspension, they might as well drop the tank while they're there, and fit a new pump (and possibly a sender unit as my petrol gauge is uhm... Apollo 13's fuel gauge was more accurate).
Then after all that, I'd like some sub frame connectors fitting to stiffen her up, and then either a valve grind and port job, or new valves, springs and rockers.
I've also got some exhaust manifolds in a box waiting for me to have a look at porting them.
Oh, and a there's a new wing over there <--- waiting for painting and fitting.

Yeah, Halliburton are famous for not giving pay rises very often, and only small ones when they do.
We've known for a while that our competitors pay more, but I guess they must have lost enough staff to them force them into this. It's quite a good pay rise too. About 10%. I guess that makes up for the lack of payrises over the last couple of years.

I don't know what I'm doing, but this month's pay slip shows another positive upswing...

Long may this trend continue.

Woohoo!!
Crew change on Monday!
That means I will be home for my dentist appointment on Wednesday that's my first at my local NHS dentist.
I've been waiting six years to find a local one that's taking on NHS patients. I couldn't afford to miss it.

I'm celebrating with a can of Irn-Bru and some Daft Punk 8-)
