I wasn't even interested in your stupid job vacancy. I like wasting my time tweaking CVs and emailing PDFs to apply for jobs I'm not interested in. I have nothing better to do with my time than to search for jobs I'm not interested in, and then sending off applications so you can ignore them. At least you didn't waste time telling me you're not in the slightest bit interested in me.

When was homage replaced with "write a love letter to" in the dictionary. Louis Vitton last night wrote his love-letter to [some pretentious sentiment], the first few bars are clearly the artist writing a love letter to the Rolling Stones.

[LIFTED] off.

So i've been trying to buy a laptop on the Dell Outlet for 2 weeks now.

Every time i order, they decide to cancel it for some stupid reason and because there's limited stock i'm stuck waiting around again.

I finally see another one appear just now on the site and phone my dad to tell him to buy it (since putting it on the Credit Card is a better option than my Debit Card).

He says he's just left work but it'll take him 10 min to get back to the Office so i patiently wait.

...

30 min later he's still not back at the Office and by the time he does get there it's already been taken (like just been taken... i've been keeping an eye on it from here).

Thanks Dad, I could have just bought it myself if i knew you were going to take that long.

I guess that's another week of waiting.

Why is everything breaking?

The lens release button on the K5 popped off
The Desire HD is back from repair (keeps rebooting) and is still doing the same thing
The power button is broken on the Sony 5.1 system (Baby broke it I think)
The tripod head is able to turn no matter how much I tighten it

Arrrrrrgh!

This is venting so I don't reply to a photo one of my FB friends has just posted.

How much would a Royal Doulton crystal wine glass set cost, and why the [LIFTED] would anyone want such an ugly bastard thing in their living room cabinet? For that matter, why do people have living room cabinets to display such crap? Is it because you need an excuse for dusting?

This has always puzzled me. My parents have one, never use it, cause you wouldn't want to break one of 'em.

For those with pristine Royal Doulton sets in their living room, I apologise for any offence, but WHYYYYYYYYYYY?!

This goes for collectible plates as well, and those glass sculptures from the 70s, in fact anything that is more ornate than practical, like those whisky glasses that hurt to hold because they're so ridged and spiky, I don't want a booby-trapped glass thanks, I just want it to hold my whiskey when it's not in the bottle, but not quite in my stomach yet.

Decoration, I guess. Same reason why I'd love to have a grandfather clock vomplete with barometer, and why I'd probably have a display cabinet and the entire Encyclopedia Britannica too.

My piephone would be better for the clock and books.

I knew one girl who was very minimalistic in terms of decor etc. Simple colours, no clutter, no photos etc. Everything was functional. The kind of stuff you describe would drive her nuts!

We have a cabinet, a nice one mind, but then it's just full of glasses and booze, all of which are used. I don't understand the fascination with collecting useless crap just to have laying around.

Apart from my model BTTF Delorean (which I'm not allowed to display) I agree.

While I know I should be grateful for having a job, I'm really hating it at the moment. Everything we do is so political, making no technical sense. We get no support from anyone either while two of us are expected to cover 24/7.

It's really pissing me off that there is no direction, no one to go to, etc.

I've spent £600 on winter tyres. There's some awesome black alloys that I want for aorund £500, which is cheap but they're genuine VW ones. Would be great for winter wheels so I could stick my winter tyres on them. Easy to clean too.. But if I buy that, I probably won't be able to afford an iphone this week.

Gaahh! I need more money!

I'd go for the wheels. The iPhone will still be there later.

I know but this is the perfect opportunity to dump O2. The contract's expired, and rolling at the moment. Can cancel within the next few days and that'll be this month done. O2 have crap coverage where I work.

I guess I could dip into my savings if absolutely necessary.
