And you can’t sue if thou have applied the latest update, as the T&Cs you agreed to forbid that kind of action.

Mind you, that agreement’s legitimacy has not yet been tested in court.

That's usually the kind of crap they throw at people to discourage further action (or at least reduce the numbers).

I doubt it would stand the test.

In places like America, I think you can sign legal rights away like that. In the UK you can't. That part of the "contract" would simply be invalid.

I was under the impression that the new T&C's attempted to prevent people joining class action lawsuits, you could still bring an individual case.
I don't have a PS3 so I don't particularly care but I do hope someone in the EU goes round and kicks in the doors of Sony's legal department for attempting to pull this sort of thing.
