Are the BNP really National Socialists or just xenophobic? (I haven't seen much in the way of policies etc. from them over here, so it is a genuine question.)

Given that they use Italians, Canadians and Polish people in their advertising, I would guess you are in the clear...

I know. The National Socialist party was changed inexorably by Adolf Hitler. The term “Nazi” as used today clearly applies to Hitler’s reshaping of the party, their ideologies and practices to form a far right Fascist state.

They're actually National Socialists, they believe in nationalising certain industries and restricting imports (ie. get it "made at home").
