Canadian TV show Lost Girl starts tonight on SyFy. Stars Anna Silk as a supernatural being who survives on human sexual energy. Might be worth a look and it doesn't clash with Torchwood!

With a death every week? A bit predictable we all know who will be the killer.

What’s Getting Cancelled Next??http://www.aintitcool.com/node/51616I haven't had a chance to catch up with the recent Nikita eps, but I'd hate to see it cancelled , it's possible there's too much good American TV around these days

The only two shows that I watch on that list are The Big Bang Theory and South Park.

Anybody else been watching Shock and Awe - the Story of Electricity on BBC 4? Fantastic program. Catch it on iPlayer if you've missed it. The end of episode 2 is especially good - the jolly japes you can have whilst sitting on top of a Tesla coil whilst wearing a chain mail suit.

For the fans of more intellectual telly, two new shows start tonight
1) Brave New World with Stephen Hawking (8PM Channel 4/4HD)- presumably only bookended by him, an investigation of where technology may be taking us in the near future. Tonight features pieces by Kathy Sykes and Jim Al-Khalili as mentioned above. The description sounds a bit like 'Tomorrow's World'.
2) The Origins of Us (9PM BBC 2/BBC HD) - That there Dr Alice Roberts doing more anthropology/archeology crossover telly. How our biology and biomechanics have affected our species' development and vice versa.
