I'd be all for it but the truth is they can't get today's games released without crippling bugs and/or insulting the consumer's intelligence, one way or another. I'd hate to imagine the state we'd be in with new engines etc if they were continuing that shoddy practice.

Anyway, I've had it with the majority of the companies involved from hardware to software, I've got two PS3s sitting here and they'll probably be the final consoles I ever own. Believe me, I'd have been the guy in the care home banging on about Call of Duty 50 otherwise ;)

Have I mentioned that one of the guys that I play COD with is about 50 years old? I reckon he'll still be into COD in 20 years time.

8-)

See, that'd be me too (though I'm concerned about what Activision patently think they can get away with), but I've got too long a list of grievances with this gen :(

I've never owned a console, but I might get a next gen one.

Puts hand up from the back of the class. I'm 52 now, soon to be 53. And ......I have an xbox360... the shame the shame...
Worked up from Spectrum to Amiga, Ps1,Ps2 then this. I think I was 18 when I got the Spectrum..

edit ZX spectrum wasn't available until '82 so I must have been at least 22 :D

My computer history:
Commodore 64, Commodore Amiga 500, PC's....
Given that consoles now seem to have a ten year life cycle, I think I might get one at the start of the next cycle.
