No sauce and white bread here.

Nooooooo thats just so wrong Also Bacon needs to have a rind to give it a bit of crunch Anyway fry the bacon and then you can fry off a nob end of a bit of bread to add a bit of extra cholesterol to your "diet"

In a bun with red sauce usually, though sometimes go for brown.
If it's got to be in slices of bread, fry the bacon, then fry the bread in the bacon fat. Mmmmm Heartattacolicious.
Above all, always with butter/spread

It depends on what mood I'm in and what exactly is available!
My preference is really thick good soft white bread, and a runny egg yolk dribbling all over. Egg is the best sauce for bacon. Oh, and the bacon should be supper-crispy. Melted butter is also excellent.
However, brown bread with brown sauce is also good. Preferably one of those loaves with interesting chewy bits in.
Red sauce with mustard and mayo is best if the bacon is crap; it covers a multitude of sins and is what I usually have at the concession stores at events.
What I really fancy now though is a liver and bacon pie with extra gravy...

So, guess who cast the only vote (so far) for pie.

I always suffer from that with lettuce when getting a kebab. Just onion, peppers, jalopenos, garlic and hot chilli sauce for me. And who thought that putting tomato in burgers was a good idea?

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Dammit, this thread is making me crave bacon in a big way.
For me, soft white bread, thick smoked streaky bacon (the smokier the better, our local deli has some sensation stuff for a price!), fried until crispy (and in massive quantities), bread fried on one side in the same pan, then liberally doused with ketchup on one side and mayonnaise on the other. I actually really like the addition of tomato and lettuce in a bacon sandwich as well.

That may have been her intention, but did she actually vote? Mark

She's also changed her vote the second time round to "No Sauce, thanks".

Depends.
White with none.
White with brown.
White with red.
White with none but with salad, grilled tomatoes and mayo.
Brown, well only ever brown sauce with that or the salad/tomatoes/mayo option.
Depends on my mood. I'm moody.
