Fingers crossed. This could be an actual possibility too (less like the 15 or so Cupertino based Apple jobs I applied for the other week). I'm also constantly on the look out if anyone spots anything

Just been asked for some work examples and code examples. Just sent him a link and promo code to Doodle Sub and also a full source code version of an app that I wrote in full this weekend as a self challenge to see what I can do in a single weekend. http://oliverfoggin.com/?p=10Quite nervous really as I have never provided any sort of portfolio work before.

Thirded. I need some it to rub off in my direction, too.

Thanks all Haven't heard anything back today. Got a question though (which I know my answer to but wanted to check with you guys). Would you take a (potentially big) pay cut to move from your current job across to a different job just to get into the industry of the new job? i.e. to get a foot on the ladder but possibly the bottom rung?

Yep have done in the past. Only if you can still afford to live and eat though!

I wouldn't do it for "an industry" or to "get a foot in the door", but I would do it for something I was passionate about That's always worked out for me somehow. Good luck dude. I'm really, really hoping you get what you want.

Thanks The only reason I want to "get a foot in the door" etc... is because it would be a dream to do that work. We'll see what happens. I think I'm beginning to wear out the refresh button on my email.
