Stieg Larsson's Vergebung (the last of his Millenium trilogy - The Girl who kicked the Hornet's Nest?).

Great book. Let me know which one was your favourite.

Difficult call, either the first one or the last one... I have all three on Audible, read by Dietmar Bär (a great German voice actor and also plays a detective in the Kölnische Tatort (TV series, each region has their own "Crime Scene" program, he stars in the one from Köln or Cologne)).

The first one does a very good job of setting up the characters and the last rounds it out nicely. The middle is okay, but it left me feeling wanting.

I've started reading / listening to a lot of nordic books lately. They have some excellent crime writers in Denmark and Sweden. Nelle Neuhaus is also very good (crime series based around Frankfurt).

Don't think so. Bit difficult to tell as this photo is so dark.

The Best of the Lightning Seeds - the advert royalty checks alone should keep that band ticking over
