Speaking of which, where is Tim at the moment?

I think me and 'er indoors agreed earlier this week that we'll get something together like a weekend away instead of buying things for each other, and then maybe do a $20 budget on small things.

I can't say there's anything I really want or need, unless a winning lottery ticket floats into my hand in which case I'll probably treat myself to a new car, house, dog, investment properties and maybe some flowers for 'er. ;)

I don't want anything other than to see my family. It's been a crap couple of years family wise and Christmas seems to be one of those times when events are wither forgotten or are looked upon in a more positive light.

That said, my family seem to find it difficult not to get me anything. But tbh, I don't have space!

World peace... blah blah... all that. The thing is I will be bought some actual gifts and I will be asked what I want. If I dont say then I'll get something I definately dont want. So I'm thinking something from a list of:

Pentax extension tubes (2nd hand)
Various reversing rings and the like
A Pentax SMC-M 28mm f/2.8 lens (2nd hand)
10-stop 77mm screw in filter
Flash 'L' bracket
Small softbox for my Metz 48-AF1

Apart from the filter (that's for something else) all the other bits are with a view to trying some extreme macro stuff. The 28mm (and my 50mm) will be reversed onto the tubes. I'm also close to swapping out my Sigma 50mm Macro for the Tamron 90mm so I could reverse the 28/50 onto that too.

Lego would be nice. I live the stuff, and I find some of really complex kits available incredible.

I've got my brother the LEGO Star Wars advent calendar (his birthday is before December the 1st so it works out rather nicely). Surprisingly, it was cheaper in John Lewis than it was on Amazon.

For myself I've asked for the book that went with the Great British Bakeoff. Mmmm, cake.
