Right click with a trackpad is two-fingers.
Alternatively, hold the control key while using one finger or pressing the "button".

By default, things download to the 'Download' folder. It should be on the Dock somewhere. Most apps will download as a disk image. When the .img is mounted, it's usually just a drag and drop into your Applications folder. Some apps will download as a straight app, however - so just drag n drop to your Applications folder.
You may be asked by some for your admin password either when you move them to your Applications folder or on the first run. I needn't tell you, I'm sure, that this is one good reason to only download your stuff from a trusted source, or alternatively, use the App Store.

Hmm. Usually, if you've downloaded a disk image containing an app, you should drag the app icon to your Applications folder. Many app developers let you drag the app icon to a proxy icon in the same window of the disk image, which saves you the bother of finding the applications folder yourself. Some apps let you run them from within the disk image, but that's not usually the preferred method. Once you've installed the app you can eject the disk image (right click, choose Eject). You can also delete the disk image permanently by throwing it in the trash. If you download apps using the Mac App Store, they are automatically copied to the right place, and an icon placed in the Dock for you. Getting apps to show permanently in the Dock can be done various ways. Drag the app itself to the Dock, or open the app, then right-click (or click and hold) the icon that appears in the Dock and select "Keep in Dock" from the menu. To remove an app from the Dock (but not to delete it) just drag its icon away from the Dock and let go.

There's something I always tell new Mac users, especially if they're very used to Windows.
If you come up against something you don't know how to do, don't try and do it "the Windows way". Stop for a second, and think how you think it should be done. Then try it. Nine times out of ten, Apple worked out the easiest, most obvious and most sensible way to achieve something.
This is one of the reasons why Mac users prefer Macs. Apple tries to design computers to work the way humans expect them to work, not the way some technician thinks it should work.

Yep. Alt+Command+Esc (Command is the Apple or "squiggle" symbol to the left and right of the space bar). Alternatively, you can: - Click and hold the stuck app's icon in the Dock and choose Force Quit. - Switch to another application or Finder and choose Force Quit from the Apple menu, then choose the stuck app from the window that appears. Yep. Throw it in the trash and delete it.

If you want keyboard shortcuts then you may find this link useful. As Heather says, the vast majority of applications are deleted by dragging them to the trash. Some however do have un-installers (like Adobe Creative Suite for instance) but these are the exception rather than the rule.
